Last night was Fashion's Night Out which, needless to say, is a taxi cab driver's favorite/most dreaded night in New York City. Me and friends Elyssa, Kyle and Hillary set out to different boutiques to party hop, intending to only go to stores that were giving out food and alcohol (Barney's failed, Theory won because I ate three cookies.)
After time well spent uptown, we headed down to the Socialyte bloggers event at RSVP in Soho, which although I was happy for more free drinks, especially since I had just spend nearly $30 in a cab going from the Upper East Side all the way to Soho, the party was overcrowded and either I didn't recognize anyone glamorous or I am the unglamorous one who is unrecognizable....either way...
...we left and attempted to go to an after hours party at the Soho Grand but we got there too early and killed time in their "yard" terrace. Met two Bushwicker's and complained about how the show GIRLS has increased rent in Bushwich and how Bushwick is the new gentrified Williamsburg. Interesting.
Ended the night with a late night comedy show at the Comedy Cellar in the Village, props to Jermaine Fowler who is a friend of Elyssa's for an impressive set.
Today: feet kill, slept in, only plan is to go to Flex Mussels for dinner and the Bally/GQ/Nordstrom Party tonight.
