Brown Sugar Face/ Body Scrub

Want your skin to glow this summer? We love this brown sugar scrub to exfoliate and moisturize the skin. Plus, you probably already have these ingredients in your kitchen now!

• 1 cup of organic brown sugar
• 1/3 cup of light olive oil
• 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract 

1.) Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. 
2.) Apply a small amount of the mixture to your face and gently scrub in a circular motion. 
3.) Follow the same circular motion applying the mixture to your body paying special attention to rough areas such as heels and elbows.
4.) Rinse thoroughly with cool water.

Yolk and Avocado Hair Mask

This mask will do wonders to your hair! Rich in amino acids and essential vitamins, avocado is an excellent source of nutrients for your hair. This mask will improve hair strength, heal damage and make your hair shine.

• One egg yolk
• 1 teaspoon of extra- virgin olive oil
• 1 teaspoon of honey
• 1/2 avocado

1.) Whisk the egg yolk, olive oil and honey in a small bowl.

2.) Using a fork, mash in 1/2 of an avocado.  
3.) In the shower,  apply the paste first to your ends and then all over your hair. 
4.) Let it soak into your strands for 15 to 20 minutes.
5.) Rinse it out, shampoo and then rinse it again. 

Apple Facial Toner

This apple facial toner is magic in a bottle! The apples in the recipe brighten your skin as the witch hazel eliminates grease. 

• 1 apple (seeds removed)
• 1/2 cup of water
• 1/4 cup of witch hazel (purchase at Walgreens)

 1.) Place the cut- up apple in a small saucepan with water. Bring to a boil and remove heat.

2.) Allow the mixture to cool and then strain out the apple chunks. 

3.) Stir in the witch hazel and pour mixture into another container. 

4.) To use, spray or apply to skin using a clean cotton ball. 

Chocolate Facial

Anything that has to do with chocolate we love, but this chocolate facial is something to crave. Cocoa reduces stress hormones and decreases collagen breakdown in the skin. The antioxidants found in dark chocolate protect your skin from the sun and improve skin hydration and thickness meaning less wrinkles ladies!

• 1/3 cup of dark cocoa
• 1/4 cup of honey
• 3 tablespoons of heavy cream
• 2 tablespoons of powered oatmeal

1.) Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl. 

2.) Using your hands of a brush, apply the mixture on the skin and let it sit for 15 minutes.

3.) Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Honey Lip Scrub

This recipe is the key for soft lips! The sugar and the coconut oil work as a team to exfoliate and moisturize your lips leaving you ready to pucker up.

• 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
• 1 teaspoon of honey
• 1.5-2 tablespoons of raw/ granulated sugar
• A dash of lemon juice

1.) Mix all ingredients together to make a sugary paste.

2.) Use a soft bristle toothbrush or your finger to apply the mixture across your lips in a circular motion. 

3.)  Rinse with water.

4.) Apply lip balm across lips. 

Teeth Whitening Recipe

Why spend the money on teeth whiteners when you can do it for free? Baking soda polishes teeth, fights bad breath and gives your teeth a whiter appearance. Use this recipe for a brighter smile that will light up any room!  

• 1 tablespoon of baking soda
• 3-5 drops of hydrogen peroxide, 3%
• 1 drop of mint extract 

1.) Mix all ingredients to make paste.

2.) Apply the mixture to a toothbrush and brush teeth.

3.) Use 1 to 3 times a month for results.
