Stingy Style

I'm not the biggest beer drinker, but let me tell you I love cider beers! Maybe its that they're so much more like spiked apple juice than beer or maybe that it reminds me of the sparkling grape juice we would have at every childhood (ok current times) Thanksgiving? So I was thrilled when I found out I was invited to Stella Artois' launch party for their Stella Artois Cidre. 

The event was this past Wednesday at Epic on Hubbard in Chicago, on their rooftop (Wait, Epic has a rooftop??? A rooftop with a bocce ball court??? Who knew...)! 

As for the Stella- LOVED IT (made with hand-picked apples)! I'm not sure if it has a higher alcohol content than most cider beers or if it was the "altitude" of the rooftop deck, or if it was that this party was really not serving any food (like ONE tray came out of that kitchen, I swear!), or the cocktail waitresses that would refill your glass after every single sip you took....but it did a good little job of getting me tipsy- well done, Stella Artois!
